Through yoga I strive to be in the here and now, live in the moment and accept what it brings, smile from inside and glow on the outside. Sometimes I achieve this.
The infinite benefits of yoga became apparent to me when working in a highly pressurised office environment. Teaching the physical angle has been a natural progression from an earlier career in dance.
Performing missed the focus on inner balance, subtle energy, stillness, well being and much more experienced in yoga. In 1999 I gave up fulltime finance work to teach yoga and have never looked back.
I practice Hatha yoga. Continuously inspired by many great teachers and clients from a wealth of disciplines and physical abilities my yoga practice is constantly evolving and diversifying, spiralling onwards to benefit others and myself.
Yoga has integrated into my life as a constant journey of learning, exploration, discovery, sharing and joy.

Yoga Walks Yoga and walking weekends aim to be located in an attractive village surrounded by beautiful countryside accessible to walkers. 10am Saturday -1pm Sunday The Yoga Classes incorporate a variety of breathing exercises, postures, relaxation, mudras and meditation. Each session lasts for around 1 ½ - 2 hours and is suitable to all levels of ability, with the opportunity to work within individual limits and beyond what we believe ourselves capable of. The classes flow, helping the individual to focus on themselves, physically and internally, uniting the body, mind and spirit - YOGA. Within the flow the aim is for a balanced release, stretch and strengthen for body and mind. |
